1. Prevent anti-aging
Free radicals are unstable molecules that can damage the cells in your body. The antioxidants contained in caffeine attack an eliminate free radicals to improve the general appearance of your skin. The number one reason why you need caffeine in your skincare!
2. Fights inflammation
Caffeine possesses anti-inflammatory properties that make it useful in reducing inflammation and redness in your skin. Using caffeine in skincare products can reduce and prevent inflammation and redness and give you beautiful, even skin tone.

Studies have indicated that caffeine may also repair the skin damage caused by exposure to UV rays. It is considered a stronger antioxidant than the polyphenols contained in green tea. In fact, it is among the best and strongest antioxidants to combat UV damage.
4. Fight rosacea
A topical application of caffeine helps in blood circulation and work as a powerful antioxidant. It has the ability to calm irritated skin caused by sun damage and rosacea.
Caffeine constricts (contracts) blood vessels to reduce redness. This makes it an ideal treatment for facial flushing and Rosaceae.
5. Minimize dark circles and reduces puffy eyes
Caffeine possess anti- inflammatory properties that help to reduce puffiness and inflammation associated with dark circles. Dark circles are caused by various factors such as dehydration, allergies, lack of sleep or even in people with genetic predisposition. Caffeine also reduces the accumulation of blood under your eyes which contribute to dark shadows.
Don’t throw away tea bags from your freshly brewed tea. Place them under your eyes for 5 minutes to reduce puffiness and dark circles. A simple way to treat your skin with caffeine without spending too much.

Another added benefit of caffeine is that it tightens fine lines. Caffeine used in creams is absorbed by your skin to firm and tighten its appearance.
